Leaf apex emarginate or obtusely 2-lobed, ovate to orbicular, glabrous, coriaceous, mostly 4–8 cm long. Corolla pink to purple, up to 65 mm long. Prostrate perennial with long trailing stems. Coast, e.g. Port Hacking, Broken Bay. Sandy beaches. Fl. spring–summer Ipomoea brasiliensis
