Petioles winged, usually glabrous, ± 4 sided. Pinnae 1–10 pairs; pinnules 7–17 pairs. Axis of inflorescence winged. Legume usually curved, slightly raised over seeds, 6–12 cm long, 11–13 mm wide. Slender shrub or small tree. Howes Mt. DSF on ridges and upper slopes. Fl. Dec–May
