Phyllodes oblong to narrow-obovate, not oblique, more than 10 mm long, obtuse with a pungent mucro; principal vein ± central. Flowers 30–50 per head. Legume 2–7 cm long, scarcely constricted between the seeds. Erect shrub up to 2 m high. Southern Blue Mts DSF. Fl. spring
