Phyllodes terete (but often ± tetragonous when dry), 5–9 mm long, c. 1.5 mm wide. Peduncle up to 0.5 mm diam. Legume curved, 2–4 cm long, c. 5 mm wide, usually constricted between the seeds. Rigid, erect, divaricate shrub up to 2 m high. Widespread. Heath and DSF especially on exposed ridges. Ss. Fl. spring
