Flowers golden yellow, mostly less than 20 per head. Phyllodes narrow-elliptic-falcate, 5–15 cm long, 5–10 mm wide, ± glaucous; marginal gland near the base. Legume oblong, 30–80 mm long, 8–20 mm wide, flat, sometimes woody, straight to curved. Tree up to 15 m high, with drooping foliage. Western Blue Mts Usually on clay soils. Fl. summer–autumn.
