Phyllodes 7–15 cm long, falcate-lanceolate, glabrous, green; marginal gland above the base and fairly distinct. Flower heads bright yellow; peduncles c. 0.5 mm diam. Shrub or tree up to 8 m high. Coast and adjacent plateaus. Garden escape into open forests. Introd. from inland parts of the State. Fl. spring. Golden Wattle
