Ovary 4–5-locular, green. Corolla tube c. 1 mm long. Sepals 1–2 mm long. Leaves oblong-elliptic to narrow-lanceolate, horizontal, flat or nearly so, 10–15 mm long, with pungent tips. Erect shrub 1–2 m high. Coast and adjacent plateaus; lower Blue Mts DSF. Fl. winter
