Herbaceous perennials. Leaves opposite. Heads numerous in terminal corymbs. Involucre cylindrical; the bracts in 2 or more rows. Receptacle without scales. Florets numerous, white, all tubular, bisexual. Cypselas 5-angled. Pappus a single row of capillary hairs 3–4 mm long.
