Perianth of female flower enlarging and enclosing capsule. Bracts 5–8. Leaves c. 2 mm wide; margins revolute to midrib; upper surface scabrous. Branches tomentose. Flowers on peduncles up to 15 mm long. Perianth segments 2–3 mm long. Fruit acute, 10 mm long. Shrub up to 1 m high. Woronora Plateau; Glenbrook. DSF. Fl. spring–summer
