Brachyloma daphnoides
Erect, bushy shrub 30–100 cm high. Leaves sessile or nearly so, broad-lanceolate to oblong-elliptic or nearly ovate, obtuse or with a short callous point, flat or slightly concave; veins ± divergent from the base, 4–10 mm long. Corolla white; tube 3–4 mm long, with a ring of hairs reflexed inside the throat and descending into the tube between the stamens; lobes narrow, shorter than the tube. Ovary 3–5-locular; style short. Fruit drupaceous, globular, 3–4 mm diam. Widespread. Heath and DSF. Sandy soils, rarely clay soils. Fl. Aug.–Oct. on the coast; until Dec. in the Blue Mts
