Plants without stolons. Leaves entire or sometimes pinnatisect, cuneate, up to 50 mm long with 3 acute linear lobes at the top. Heads solitary, on long scapes. Involucre c. 10 mm diam. Rays up to 9 mm long, white to bluish. Cypselas with toothed wings. Pappus c. 0.7 mm long. Erect perennial up to 50 cm high. Blue Mts Usually in wet situations. Fl. spring–summer
