Brachyscome spathulata Gaudich.

Scapes up to 50 cm long, leafless or with reduced leaves in the lower third. Leaves mainly basal, 5–10 cm long, spathulate, crenate. Involucre 10–15 mm diam. Rays 5–6 mm long, mauve. Cypselas 3–4 mm long, winged. Pappus up to 1 mm long. Erect perennial up to 50 cm high. Blue Mts Forests on clay soils. Fl. spring–summer
