Erect, rigid, hoary perennial. Upper leaves oblong-elliptic, dentate to sinuate, stem-clasping. Racemes up to 10 cm long, arranged in dense corymbs. Petals white, c. 5 mm long. Fruit ovate, c. 4 mm wide, not notched, indehiscent. Widespread. Weed of cultivation and waste places. Hoary Cress
