Leaves with a midvein and 2 smaller longitudinal veins near the margins especially near the base, glabrous or glandular-scabrous above, narrow-lanceolate, 6–8 cm long, 3–6 mm wide. Involucre c. 1 mm diam.; bracts with white tips. Florets 3–4. Shrub or small tree up to 8 m high, with yellowish branches. Widespread. WSF and margins of RF. Fl. summer–autumn
