Terrestrial herb to 20 cm high, usually less. Leaf linear 7 cm long, sparsely hairy. Inflorescence 1-flowered. Perianth blue (rarely white) up to 17 mm long; outer surface with sparse blue hairs. Labellum cuneate 3-lobed. Calli in 2 rows, golden yellow. Widespread. Open forests. Fl. spring.
