Perennial herbs. Leaves basal, on long petioles, ovate, coarsely toothed, green on the upper surface, cottony-white underneath. Peduncles shorter than the leaves. Involucre 10 mm diam. Ray florets yellow. Disc florets yellow, shorter than the bracts. Cypselas dark brown, oblong, ribbed, 2–3 mm long. Pappus absent.
