Erect, glabrous herb up to 10 cm high with reddish stems. Leaves sessile, oblong to ovate, 3–8 mm long, keeled. Flowers solitary, terminal. Corolla up to 2 mm long, greenish outside, blue inside. Stigmas 2, sessile. Capsule 2-valved, c. 5 mm long, with a gynophore 1–3 mm long. Wingecarribee Swamp. Sphagnum and sedge swamp. Endangered. Fl. spring
