Prostrate annual herb. Glabrous. Leaves opposite or clustered, obovate to oblanceolate, 30 mm long. Perianth white or tinged with pink. Carpels 3. Styles 3. Fruit a dehiscing capsule. Seeds numerous, with an appendage. Ephemeral watercourses. Widespread but not common
