Young shoots and undersurface of the leaves slightly pubescent with white hairs. Leaves pinnate-lobed; lobes oblong or ovate, rarely themselves lobed. Perianth dark pink. Small shrub. Higher Blue Mts Fl. spring–summer. (This plant is known to be a hybrid between G acanthifolia and G laurifolia; some forms closely resemble one or other of the parents)
