Leaves silky underneath, narrow-elliptic to linear, 1–2 occasionally 3 cm long, 1–7 mm wide. Inflorescences almost sessile with 1–4 flowers. Flowers red often green near base. Inside of perianth glabrous to sparsely hairy above beard. Shrub up to 2 m high. Hunter River Valley. DSF. Fl. spring
