Leaves stem-clasping, narrow-oblong to narrow-lanceolate, 2–11 cm long, pubescent underneath, mostly with a short terminal point. Flowers 3–4 cm diam., sessile in a cluster of floral leaves. Sepals 12–16 mm long. Large shrub with softly pubescent young branches. Blue Mts; Cumberland Plain; Illawarra Ranges. Moist gullies. Fl. spring
