Leaf segments c. 2 mm wide; at least the ultimate segments ridged underneath at the margin and midrib. Leaves 4–10 cm long. Perianth almost glabrous at the tip or sparsely hairy. Cones subglobular, 12–20 mm diam. Young shoots and branches pubescent. Prostrate shrub or sometimes ascending to 1 m high. Blue Mts DSF and heath. Ss. Fl. spring–summer
