Small tree up to 10 m high. Leaves bipinnate, with up to 6 pairs of pinnae; pinnules up to 20 pairs on each pinna, oblong to lanceolate, up to 15 mm long. Flowers in axillary globular heads, greenish to cream, 5–merous; heads up to 20mm diam. Stamens 10. Occasional in Hunter River valley. Weed in vacant land and pastures. Introd. from trop. America
