Corolla tube twice as long as the sepals; the lobes very short. Leaves lanceolate to oblong-linear. Sepals 3–4 mm long, acute. Flowers solitary or few together in the leaf axils, often on the older branches. Rigid, divaricate shrub up to 1 m high. Coast and adjacent plateaus; lower Blue Mts Heath and DSF on a variety of soil types. Fl. winter–spring
