Erect shrubs. Leaves linear to narrow-lanceolate, very shortly petiolate, rigid, pungent pointed. Corolla tube short, hairy inside above the middle; lobes spreading, glabrous (or sparsely hairy) inside. Ovary 5–7-locular. Fruit drupaceous, depressed-globular.
