tenuisEpiphytic, parasitic shrub. Leaves opposite, linear, 1–3 mm wide, up to 14 cm long, narrowed into an obscure petiole; venation obscure. Flowers paired, axillary, almost sessile or with a very short peduncle (rarely 1–3-umbellate). Calyculus cylindrical. Petals 5, connate, 2.5–5 cm long, red, curved. Fruit ovoid, 6 mm diam., red or black. Usually on Casuarinaceae species. Hunter River Valley Fl. summer
