Melia azedarach
Deciduous tree with spreading branches. Leaves bipinnate; leaflets ovate to narrow-ovate, acuminate, entire or coarsely dentate, 2–5 cm long. Panicle loose, slightly shorter than the leaves. Petals 8–10 mm long, lilac. Filaments connate into a dark-coloured (purplish) tube which is 10–12-toothed. Fruit drupaceous, ovoid, 12–20 mm long. Coast and Cumberland Plain. RF. often planted for shade. Fl. Oct.–Nov. White Cedar
