Annual herb to 50 cm high. Leaves alternate, imparipinnate, pubescent. Stipules less than 1 mm long. 15–37 leaflets, oblong to elliptic 3–8 mm long, 2–4 mm wide. Inflorescence an axillary umbel with 2–5 flowers. Bracts leafy and pinnate. Calyx 3–5 mm long densely covered with hairs. Corolla 5–8 mm long, yellow. Legume curved, 20–5 mm long with a beak 7 mm long. Not common, naturalized in Sydney area. Introduced from Mediterranean. Fl. spring–summer. Yellow Serradella
