100 species endemic Aust.; all states and territoriesShrubs or small trees. Leaves alternate, entire. Flowers regular, solitary or sometimes paired in the leaf axils or in terminal racemes. Perianth yellow; segments equally spreading, recurved above, finally almost free. Filaments short, attached near the middle of the perianth segments. Ovary stipitate. Fruit a drupe. Fl. summer unless otherwise indicated.
