Tall trees or erect shrubs, glabrous or nearly so. Leaves pinnately compound, imparipinnate; rhachis articulate. Flowers bisexual or sometimes polygamous, articulate on the pedicels, in umbels or racemes arranged in panicles. Calyx truncate or slightly toothed. Petals 5. Stamens 5. Ovary 2-locular. Fruit ± succulent, laterally compressed.
