Prostrate to erect shrubs, sometimes rhizomatous. Leaves up to 2 cm long. Flowers in terminal corymbs or solitary. Petals white and purplish outside, 3–5 mm long. Ovary 1-locular. Fruit a compressed orbicular capsule with few to several seeds.
