Leaves ovate, often cordate at the base, crenate to lobed, rarely more than 12 mm long. Corolla c. 5 mm long; the lower lip slightly longer than the upper. Stoloniferous herbs with stems ascending up to c. 15 cm high, pubescent with minute white simple often appressed hairs or almost glabrous. Widespread. Damp sheltered places. Fl. spring–autumn
