Leaves linear-subulate, c. 1 mm wide, 2–5 cm long, often incurved. Corolla 5–8 mm long, pink to deep pink. Ovary narrow-cylindrical to narrow-obovoid. Perennial herb with reddish scapes up to 20 cm high. Widespread. Heath and DSF. Fl. spring–summer
