Annual or biennial herb up to 1 m high, glabrous or hairy. Lower leaves alternate, 3-pinnatisect, up to 15 cm long; upper leaves smaller and less cut. Heads few, in corymbs, 3–5 cm diam. Involucral bracts in 2–several rows. Ray florets female, c. 10, in 1 row; rays white, up to 20 mm long. Disc florets yellow, tubular, bisexual. Cypselas c. 2 mm long, dark brown, wrinkled. Pappus a truncate rim. Sydney area. Weed of waste places and roadsides. Introd., from Europe. Fl. spring–summer. Scentless Mayweed
