Erect, greyish-green annual or biennial 60–120 cm high, pubescent towards the base. Lower leaves narrow-oblong to narrow-ovate, sinuate-dentate to lyrate. Upper leaves saggitate, stem-clasping, glaucous. Petals yellow, c. 5 mm long. Fruit erect, 40–70 cm long; valves concave, ± raised in the midline by the prominent vein. Jenolan Caves.
