Erect shrub 1–5 m high with long wiry often pendulous branchlets. Leaves modified into long cylindrical phyllodes, very rarely with 3 leaflets. Flowers in long terminal racemes. Calyx lobes nearly equal, short. Petals c. 8 mm long, yellow. Legume sessile, ovate. Coast and adjacent plateaus; lower Blue Mts Wet ground. Fl. spring. Native Broom
