Mature leaves not twice as wide as long. Leaf lamina longer than broad, spathulate with a distinct terminal tooth longer then lateral ones. Flower scapes usually exceeding leaves, 3–8 cm long, Petals 3–6 mm long, whitish to pale violet at apex. Lateral petals glabrous inside or nearly so. The whole plant often less than 25 mm high. Ss. Widespread. Moist ground in more exposed situations. Fl. spring–summer
