Calyx lobes 3–4 mm long; glabrous on the inside, whitish tomentose on the outside, Bracteoles almost linear. Shrub 0.5 m–1 m high. Cumberland Plain; Hornsby and Woronora plateaus; Burragorang. Leaves ovate-lanceolate to lanceolate, usually 5–10 cm long, 10–40 mm wide. Cymes short or almost capitate, reflexed, densely rusty tomentose. Calyx lobes 6–8 mm long, glabrous inside; rusty tomentose on the outside. Bracteoles lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate. Ovary sometimes 4-locular. Erect shrub 1–2 m high.
