Stolon-like branches usually present. Cypselas with wings broader than the body of the cypsela. Leaves up to 5 cm long, forming a dense tuft, once or twice pinnatisect, with linear lobes, glabrous or with soft hairs. Heads not usually clustered. Involucre 3–5 mm diam. Cypselas 3 mm long; persistent style c. as long as the cypsela. Widespread. Weed in lawns. Introd. from America. Fl. summer. Jo-jo or Bindyi Soliva sessilis
