Spikelets with 1 bisexual floret and a sterile lemma below it, disarticulating below the glumes, 2 mm long, arranged in a spike-like panicle. Lower glume very small or abortive; upper glume and lower lemma covered with tubercle-based hairs; fertile lemma with a hyaline margin. Hawkesbury River district. Shaded places. Vulnerable. Fl. autumn
