Weak herbs; stems creeping, or ascending from prostrate stems. Flowers small. Inflorescence a loose terminal panicle or with 2 short branches rarely exceeding the highest leaf. Petals white. Fertile stamens 2–3; staminodes 2–4; filaments all glabrous. Ovary with 2 perfect loculi.
