Blechnum penna-marina alpina
Rhizome long-creeping, with the stipes scattered along the rhizome but often clustered at the apex of the rhizome. Plants 8–35 (rarely up to 45) cm high. Lamina firm, paler beneath, glabrous or almost so. Basal frond-segments widely spaced and much reduced in size. Middle sterile frond-segments 0.5–1.5 cm long. Blue Mts (Jenolan Caves).
