Leaflets acute, leaves bipinnate, at least some of the leaflets further divided into 3 entire secondary leaflets, 3–15 mm long. Branchlets usually prominently 4–angled, glabrous. Flowers often more than 3 in each axillary cyme; the cymes shorter than the leaves. Petals pale pink to white, 3–5 mm long. Shrub up to 1 m high. Blue Mts Heath and DSF. Fl. winter–spring.
