Leaves rhomboidal or broad-ovate, serrulate, crowded, almost sessile, 7–15 mm long, coriaceous, veins very faint or not visible; acute. Sepals acute. Petals rose-pink, 8–10 mm long, broad-ovate, imbricate. Shrub 1–1.5 m high. Woronora and Hornsby plateaus. Sandy soil in wet heath. Fl. spring.
