*Desmodium uncinatum (Jacq.) DC.

Plant stems covered with hooked hairs. Leaflets ovate to elliptic 2–10 cm long, 10–60 mm wide, upper surface with silver stripe down its middle. Corolla white, pink or blue. Legume with 3–10 segments each 5–7 mm long. Whale Beach. Fl. spring–summer.
