Corolla tube less than twice as long as the sepals, 4–8 mm long; lobes 4–5 mm long. Leaves with an obtuse or cordate base, ovate, up to 20 mm long, 5–9 mm wide, acuminate. Anthers slightly exserted from the corolla tube. Style enclosed in the corolla tube. Diffuse shrub 1–2 m high with thin wiry branches. DSF and heath. Sandy soils. Fl. Vulnerable. spring–summer
