Eucalyptus benthamii
Bark smooth, usually with loose ribbons. Operculum conical, much shorter than the floral tube. Tree up to 30m high. Juvenile leaves lanceolate to orbicular, usually glaucous. Adult leaves 8–14 x c. 1.5cm; lateral veins irregular 20–40°. Umbels 7-flowered; peduncles terete, 5–6 mm long. Fruit ovoid-truncate to campanulate, 4–5 x 4–5mm, pedicellate; disc flat or slightly convex; valves usually exserted. Kedumba Valley below Wentworth Falls; Nepean River. Vulnerable. Fl. summer.
