Lateral veins irregular; angle 30–40°; intramarginal vein 1–2 mm from the margin. Twigs usually reddish. Peduncles compressed, 4–7 mm long. Operculum conical, as long as or shorter than the floral tube. Fruit usually ovoid-truncate, 7–8 x 8–9 mm, sessile or nearly so; disc broad, slightly convex to domed; valves exserted.
