Eucalyptus dives
Pedicels slender and distinct from the fruit. Tree up to 20 m high. Bark on trunk and larger branches fibrous but not stringy, smooth on smaller branches. Leaves 10–15 x 2–5 cm; lateral veins irregular; angle 15–35°; intramarginal vein faint, 1–3 mm from the margin. Umbels 7–15-flowered; peduncles slightly compressed or angular. Operculum usually conical, shorter than the floral tube. Fruit pyriform or hemispherical, 6–8 x 5–7 mm, pedicellate; disc conspicuous, convex; valves enclosed or their tips exserted.
