Operculum more than 1.5 times as long as the floral tube. Bark creamy white or buff coloured, blotched with greenish or bluish patches. Leaves 10–13 x 1.5–2.5 cm. Umbels mostly 3- or 7-flowered. Buds usually reddish, never glaucous (see E. dealbata with which this species may be confused). Fruit pedicellate, campanulate to hemispherical or subcylindrical, 7–9 x 8–9 mm; disc prominent. Western parts of the area. Usually on stony ridges. Fl. winter–spring. Dwyer’s Mallee
